From September 12 to 16, the 2026 China-SCO Demonstration Zone for Ice Snow Sports Youth Boxing Tournament was successfully held at Harbin People’s Gymnasium. The College of International Education of Harbin Institute of Technology organized international students to watch the matches on-site and experience the competitive charm of boxing first-hand.
本次赛事由黑龙江省体育局主办，来自五个国家的青年拳击健儿齐聚冰城，以拳会友、切磋技艺，充分展现青年体育健儿昂扬向上的精神风貌。现场观赛的哈工大国际学生切身感受体育竞技精神，加深了对拳击运动的了解。
Hosted by the Heilongjiang Provincial Bureau of Sports, the tournament brought young boxers from five countries together in the Ice City-Harbin. Exchanging skills through boxing, these young athletes fully demonstrated the vigorous spirit of young sports competitors. HIT international students present at the event got a real-world taste of sportsmanship and deepened their understanding of boxing

In recognition of the support for the tournament of CIE, the organizer awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award to the College of International Education, Harbin Institute of Technology. Sophia Du, coordinator of CIE, was invited as an award presenter to honour winners of the men’s 60 65kg category. The cheerleading team of CIE was invited to perform at the opening ceremony.
